Plate
Pewter plate dated 18th century. The back has been struck with an ownership triad of ‘B’ over ‘I’ and ‘E’. Also on the back is a crowned ‘X’ and a set of four unidentified hallmarks including the initials ‘H(?)M’. Discovered ‘during some lengthy dredging operations in the Thames in 1927’ between Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Found and presented to the Museum by Mr H.F. Wray-Cook in August , 1959.
