A copper alloy as coin struck by the Emperor Tiberius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 14-37, to commemorate the divine Augustus, ruler of the Roman Empire, 31 BC-AD 14. The back of the coin depicts Augustus' wife Livia. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 14-37.
Obv: Radiate head of Augustus, facing left. Obv inscription: DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER. Rev: Livia as a priestess, seated right, holding a patera (dish) in her right hand and a long vertical sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: SC in field.
