Amethyst and diamond rosette brooch
An enamelled gold brooch in the form of a sexfoil rosette, set with six rose-cut amethysts with a small diamond in the centre and six more around the edge to represent the calyx points of a rose. The reverse is enamelled in black and white. Also on the back are two opposing and recurving wires for attachment. Part of the Cheapside Hoard.
