Beaker
A small beaker with a reeded rim, tapering bowl and decoratively turned base, made by John Colson. See also acc. No. 80.439/3 and acc. No.23095 for other examples and a larger version of Colson’s touch on a porringer, acc. No. 8136. Ronald Michaelis suggested this connection in part III of his article series in the Apollo Magazine, September, 1949.
