Post-Medieval — 17th century-18th century
Cloth seal, four-part cloth seal
One disc from a four disc armorial seal. Discs one and four would form the rivet and rove discs and be very much smaller than this inner disc, which shows a crowned triple rose with foliate border. The other large inner disc would have shown the royal arms. Originally recorded as "trader's cloth seal, only one half of object originally catalogued. Disc with crowned Tudor rose, surrounded by foliate decoration. [in Register other side has Royal Arms]".
