Abraham Le Keux issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in Norton Folgate, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2090; Obv inscription: ABRAHAM.LE.KEVX (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three tuns (in field); Rev inscription: IN / NORTON / FALGATE (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field)

Norton Folgate used to be an area in the parish of St Botolph, in Stepney, Middlesex; the name survives in a road which forms part of the boundary between the City of London and Tower Hamlets.
