Three trade tokens from goldsmiths are known from London, it seems an unusual business to be issuing tokens which held such low value; see also NN17632, in the musuem collection. The Hermitage Bridge, Wapping, was by the South Western entrance to the Hermitage Docks. The area lies in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
