The Two Draymen
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the sign of the Two Draymen, in East Smithfield, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 948A; Obv inscription: AT.THE.2.DRAMEN.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Two men carrying a barrel on a pole (in field); Rev inscription: EAST.SMITH.FEILD (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = P.E.S. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).

East Smithfield, lies in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, having formerly been part of, Stepney, Middlesex.
