Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 29 made in South Gaul. Zonal decoration includes, running dogs interspersed with floral sprays in the upper zone, and a lower zone of gadroons. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
