A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts a military camp. This coin was minted in Arelate (modern day Arles, France), AD 328.
Obv: Diademed head of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: CONSTANTINVS AVG. Rev: A military camp gate, with two turrets and a star above. Rev inscription: PROVIDENTIAE AVGG, SF in field, PCONST in exergue.
