Tankard
A conical tankard of pint capacity with an everted rim and decorative fillets around the lower body and base. The hollow-cast swept handle has flush attachments and the thumbplate has been engraved with the initial ‘H’. There is a crowned ‘WR’ verification mark just below the rim to the left of the handle. There is a large piece missing from the front of the vessel which was evidently engraved with a cartouche and inscription. No visible marks. Date: c.1830-40.
