Iron, spur
Spur fragment, found in the north ditch of excavations of the Rose Theatre. Believed to have belonged to someone of high status, a worldly theatre attendee or an actor on the stage. Recorded in Bowsher and Miller (2009) 'The Rose and the Globe- playhouses of Shakespeare's Bankside, Southwark: Excavations 1988-90', p145 and 217.
