Pestle or waster
Possibly the rounded end of a pestle with handle missing, made from dark green glass. Pestles were used by apothecaries for grinding up herbs, drugs and powders for medicines. Glass pestles and mortars were used instead of metal vessels when there was a danger of fine metal particles being ground into the drug.
