Needle
Bone needle. Longitudinal slice through a bovine or horse bone. The shaft has been shaved down and tapers to form a point, the very end of which has been damaged. There is a round hole through the head which forms the eye. The cancellous structure of the bone at the head has beeen exposed. Well polished.
