Blue-dash charger
Tin-glazed earthenware charger decorated in blue, green, red and yellow on a white glaze, with a stemmed dish laden with pomegranates and other fruit, and inscribed '1675'. The rim has a border of feathery motifs and the edge has blue dashes. The back of the dish is beige. Decorative dishes like this were propped up on a sideboard or suspended from a cord threaded through holes in the ‘foot ring’ on the back.
