Post-Medieval — Late 17th century
Bowl
Bowl, with reinforced rim and flat base. The mark underneath depicts what could be a tree in a beaded circle with the letter ‘S’ to the right: possibly the mark of John Slough [Slow], London (LTP.231; OP4320A).
Slow had leave to strike his touch in 1674/5. His premises were searched by the Company in 1689 and 1691 (Ricketts, 2001). Date: late 17th century.
