Trefid or split end spoon
A pewter spoon with an elliptical shaped bowl, long rat's tail and flat rectangular sectioned stem widening to nearly double the width terminating in a trefid or split end decorated with the profile heads of Charles II and Catherine of Braganza. There is an indistinct maker's mark in the bowl of a crown above the letters 'C' [?] and 'C'.
