Trefid or split end spoon
A pewter spoon with an elliptical shaped bowl with long rat's tail, flat rectangular sectioned stem widening to nearly double the width (the end is missing) but probably terminated in a trefid or split end. There are maker's marks on the stem of a thistle (or acorn), a lion and the letters 'I' and 'C'.
