Casting a statue of Charles I
Taking a cast of the Statue of Charles I. Workmen surround the partially encased statue in a workshop, with another sculpture visible in the background. For Crystal Palace. Casting was made in 1853 of Le Sueur's statue by Boucciani, for the Crystal Palace. Landells (1833-77) was war correspondent for the ILN covering the Crimean, Prusso-Danish and Franco-Prussian wars.
