Hornsey Road
'Hornsey Road'. Early types of omnibuses parked on Hornsey Road. By the 1840s omnibus routes served both the central and outer areas of London. They offered a service to those living in the north London suburbs, wishing to travel to and from the centre of town for business, shopping or recreational purposes. Schnebbelie was active 1803-21, d. 1849 of starvation.
