Sir Alma Tadema and Sir Henry Irving
Harry Furniss worked as an artist in Ireland before moving to London in 1876 where he worked at the Illustrated London News and Punch, among others. His drawings were very popular and he ilustrated many books. Alma Tadema was a celebarted artist of the late nineteenth century who designed the set of Cymberline by William Shakespeare for the actor Sir Henry Irving in 1897.
