Westminster Bridge the Surrey Side
Nash was an architectural draughtsman and watercolourist. A note on the drawing describes it as 'the Surrey side', meaning that this is the east end of the bridge on the Lambeth shore. Until 1889, Lambeth was part of the county of Surrey.
