Port & River — 1899
Passenger list
'Passenger List' issued by the Union Steam Ship Company to passengers on board the Royal mail Steamer 'Goorkha' in April, 1899. Most passenger liners issued these lists for the convenience of those traveling on board their ships. This example also contains a map of the route ( from Southampton to Cape Town) , names of the ships officers, details of the line's fleet, and the cost of fares. The Head Office of the Union Line was in Bishopsgate in the City of London.
