Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, made at South Gaul. Decorated with panel design including figure of large figure of Diana with hand, and small figures of a male, and figure of a satyr, with basal wreath of rosettes. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
