Bowl
Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo with band of ovolo with sepearated tongue, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul, by either the potter Libertus or Butrio. Decoration includes large leaf shapes and small bird figure infill. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
