Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo band, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul, by the potter Censorinius. Decorated with panel design including maleand female figures, some within medallions. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
