Bowl
Fragment of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 29 made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. The upper zone of decoration has panels of arrowheads with wavy line borders and bird figures, with stirrup leaf festoon, with continous wreath around carination. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
