Archaeology — 19th century
Vessel
This fragment from a high-quality moulded porcelain vessel, possibly a vase, was found on an archaeological excavation in Church Street, Isleworth, close to Kew Gardens. The vessel is glazed in blue and white, with faint painted decoration of pink roses and green leaves. It would have been quite expensive when it was bought.
