Skirt
Off-white silk satin skirt pleated into narrow waistband in front with three rippling pleats cascading down the right front. Skirt gathered into waistband at back and has two large gores (godets) set into the cente back placket for extra fullness. Opening fastens with two hooks and eyes at waist and one hook and embroidered loop halfway down placket. Lined with cream coloured twilled cotton; scalloped, pinked, cream silk flounce stitched to the underside of hem. Waist tape embroidered with 'Hitchcock and Williams and Co/Costumiers/St. Paul's Churchyard/London.
