Jug, jug handle
Mount from the base of jug handle in the shape of a vine leaf, with incised scallops around the edge and linear decoration on its surface. Three holes have been drilled through it, quite neatly, but slightly off-centre. The plate is slightly curved to follow the profile of the vessel.
There is a close parallel from Corbridge (Bishop & Dore 1988, 171, 173).
