Lamp, oil lamp
Ceramic picture lamp; incomplete. Rounded nozzle with volutes with moulded terminals; discus with concentric raised ribs and filling-hole; decorated with banqueting or erotic scene, with naked standing figure on left facing right, and clothed recumbent figure lying on a couch or bed on right facing left, both gesturing; flat base with circular groove. Probably made in East Gaul (precise source/ware not yet identified).
