Lamp, picture lamp
Incomplete type 1B ceramic picture lamp, missing most of the body. Wide lozenge-shaped nozzle with volute mouldings; part of a circular wick hole; pierced slit air hole between the volute mouldings; some damage to the tip of the nozzle. Very little of the body remains. Slightly concave shoulder decorated with three concentric grooves; trace of a concave discus and oil-filling hole; light sooting on the interior of the discus around the oil hole. Central Gaulish colour-coated ware (other fabric) (CGOF).
