Curette, hook
Sharp surgical hook used for pulling back the edges of wounds or surgical incisions, or holding them in place, or for raising tissues to be cut out. Roman surgeons used these instruments for removing or treating medical problems like abnormal growths, tumours, fistulas and haemorrhoids.
