Handle, sword handle
Fragmentary ivory sword handle in two pieces (CID90[2781]<1748>a and CID90[2781]<1748>b). Only a half in length has survived. There are three ridges that would have acted as finger grips. Found in a pit underneath one of the earliest roads in Roman London. Another sword handle was found in the same pit: CID90[2781]<1141>.
