Sunrise over the Upper Pool, from London Bridge looking east towards Tower Bridge, c. 1930. The warehouses on the south bank, occupied by the 'Hay's Wharf' group, were known as 'London's Larder' from their handling of dairy produce, tea, coffee and other foodstuffs.
