Lid, bottle-neck lid, cremation urn
The lid of a cremation urn made of natural green-blue glass. Good quality glass, with few bubbles. Iridescence and weathering, heavy in places. Parts present: complete. Underside of lid turned down to form a lip; reeded on exterior, fire-rounded, very well finished. The handle is hollow and more crudely made; formed by pinching the top, folding out and under, then flattening on a marver. Shoulder slightly uneven at one point.
Isings form 66b.
