Ladle, foundry ladle
Large ladle with long handle, looped at the end. The bowl has a small lip, holes stamped in it, and a lot of dried molten metal sticking to it. Used for stirring molten metal in the melting pot. The metal made ingots for the intertype machine and was stirred to ensure it was mixed throroughly.
