Handle, bowl handle
Short curved handle, the upper part decorated with a lion head placed between two brackets which were attached to the rim of the vessel; there is a thumb grip above the lion mask and stylised leaf decoration on the outer curve of the handle. The lower terminal is decorated with a male head, probably Bacchus; well defined features and hair arranged in tiers on top of the head and on either side of face. Probably from a shallow cup or bowl.
