Vessel, vessel handle
A copper alloy handle from a patera (dish). Flat shaped strap handle, with bevelled uppper edges, and the sides incurved, with keyhole-shaped suspension hole at the narrower end; the wider end, which is snapped, was attached to the rim of vessel (patera). Stamped with the name of the maker SAVGVS F on the upper surface, close to the suspension hole.
