Pottery, vessel, jar
A large everted-rim jar in Thameside Kent ware (TSK 2F6), complete and unbroken but with an abraded surface. The body is decorated with a burnished open-lattice decoration.
This vessel was the primary vessel that contained cremated bones (CB175). It had been placed inside an amphora (Dressel 20) with accessory vessels. From the Roman cemetery at Tower Hamlets, London E1.
