Pottery, vessel, bowl
A complete but cracked bowl of Black-burnished ware 2 with rounded rim (4H5). The lower body is slightly burnt and abraded and warped to an oval shape.
The bowl formed the lid of a cremation urn (MST87[387]<146>) which had been deposited in an amphora of Dressel 20 type (MST87[387]<145>). These vessels formed a cremation group (CB251). From the Roman cemetery in Tower Hamlets, London E1.
