Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 30, with band of ring ovolo, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul. Decorated with freestyle design of human and animal figures, including male figure on horseback, and figure of lion and a dog. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
