Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 29, stamp: OF[IV]CVNDI inside base, the mark of the potter Iucundus of South Gaul. Decorated with medallions containing cupid figure between festoon decoration with dogs and hares above, in lower zone, with festoon in upper zone. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
