Afbeeldingh van de Stadt London. Aenwijzende hoe verre de zelve verbrandt is, en wat plaetzen noch overgebleven zijn
This Dutch document, printed in Amsterdam in 1667, contains a description of the Great Fire of London and a map showing the burnt area. It also has an engraving of London aflame and a plan of how the city might be rebuilt (possibly Robert Hooke's design). This shows how much international interest there was in the Great Fire. The Dutch would have been particularly eager to know the details as England was at war with the Netherlands at the time and the Dutch were one of the groups suspected of starting the fire.
