The We are Three ?
Robert Cornelius issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Tooley Street, Southwark.
Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Southwark number 432; Obv inscription: ROBERT. CORNELIVS. IN. 1665 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = WE ARE 3 & two heads facing (in Roman capitals below sign, in field); Rev inscription: ST. TVLIS. STREET. HIS. HALF. PENY (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.D.C. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
