Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Southwark number 424; Obv inscription: BRIAN.BOWDLER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALF / PENY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: IN.TOOLIS.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = An anchor B.S.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals around dign, in field).
