The Three Fish
Bartholomew Fish issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Queenhithe.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2303; Obv inscription: BARTHOLLOMEW.FISH (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three fishes (in field); Rev inscription: AT.QVEENEHITHE.1667 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
