Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1970; Obv inscription: IOHN.RANDALL.AT.MOORE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Moorgate, I.M.R. / 1666 (triad of initials in Roman capitals around sign with date below, in field); Rev inscription: GATE.HIS.HALFE.PENNY (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Moorgate, I.M.R. / 1666 (triad of initials in Roman capitals around sign with date below, in field).
