The Still
Henry Young issued this trade token, worth a penny, for his business in Moorfields, near Old Bethlehem Hospital Gate, in the ward of Bishopsgate Without (now Bishopsgate Ward), in the City of London.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1964; Obv inscription: IN.MORE.FEILDES (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A still (in field); Rev inscription: NEARE.BEDLAM.GATE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HENRY / YOVNG / 1D (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
