This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the Pewter Pot Alehouse (tavern), in Leadenhall Street.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1646; Obv inscription: YE.PEWTER.POT.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = An alehouse pot (in field); Rev inscription: LEADENHALL.STREE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = I.E.B. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
